Creating stories from each single image, searching through the different realities which surround it, whether they’re inherent or from somewhere else. Places where the visual creation is subordinate to the written work, forming a poetic inventory of our time which acts as a solid base in Raul Urbina’s work.
The result is a series of small visual poetic creations, all open to the viewer’s own interpretation of them. The titles of each work, in many cases, form part of the short poems written within that same creative process, in some cases in the same place and at the same moment.

The tale which Urbina weaves casts aside the formal aspect in order to show the creator’s sensitivity at the moment of approaching the personalities, places and objects which surround him.
